Oh Babee!

I started off this week with a really fun order. It was for a "bee" themed baby shower. The colors were yellow and gray and Emily was so good at telling me exactly what she wanted. I took Emily's ideas and a few of my own and came up with these:

I love using gray and yellow together, add the bees and it just couldn't get any better!

I put baby's monogram on a gray cookie and added a couple of bees for added detail.

I also did a bunch of bees which I think tied all of the cookies together perfectly!

Lastly, I did a round yellow cookie with "baby B" written on it. I loved this theme especially because baby's last name starts with a B.

This is why I love doing cookies! Fun theme, fun colors, and I get to be part of someones special day!

Cookie Crazy and Chicken Pox

This has been a fun week because all of my orders were so different. I started off the week with another Angry Birds order, but since I just posted Angry Bird pics last week, I will just show you the pigs.

Aren't these guys hilarious?! I laughed every time I saw them.
Next up, a sweet sailboat order.

I made the sailboats match the invite, and put Caiden's name on a simple green cookie. I loved the blue and green together!

My third order of the week was for my sweet friend Helen's Mom, who was having a Queen's Jubilee party. I did navy and red cookies with the Queen's emblem on them.

My fourth order was for a modern Dr. Seuss party. I love taking something classic and putting a fun spin on it.

I never get tired of doing Dr. Seuss cookies. I loved taking the hat and adding a little "modern" to it with the chevron.

My only local order this week was for a lingerie shower. Kim was so easy to work with. She told me the party colors were hot pink, black and white, and do whatever designs I wanted.

I did bras, panties and corset's.

These cookies are so fun!

My last order for the week was for a Ninjago birthday party. When I was asked to do these I said yes, and then quickly went and tried to figure out what a Ninjago was, ha! I found out the are Lego Ninjas, and was so excited to do something I had never done.

I also did some Ninja faces, and "4's" to coordinate.

I was ready for a break after this 6th order was finished! My parents kept the kids Friday and Saturday and Jason and I celebrated our 8 year Anniversary a few days early. We enjoyed every second of the time we had together and I even slept in this morning!

We were happy to pick the kiddos up and end the week with a bang. My Mom called me yesterday and asked if I had noticed a small spot on Taylor's cheek. I had, but thought it was nothing and blew it off. She told me that it looked like chicken pox to her, and told me she would keep an eye on it.
A few hours later Taylor had broken out in head to toe chicken pox. Sigh. She has been such a trooper and is playing and acting like her sweet self. I am praying it runs its course quickly!

I debated on even posting these pics because I have already done a post on both of them, but I decided its been awhile since we have seen the Angry Birds :). People seem to love the Angry bird cookies so I do them often. So here is a quick run down on some Angry Birds and Toy Story cookies.

Picture Overload and Apple Pie

I am giving you a fair warning that there are going to be a lot of pictures in this post, so grab a snack. :)
First off, John Deere cookies for sweet Melissa.

I love the modern twist on an old theme. All of her decorations were so cute and looked straight out of a party planning magazine!
Happy Birthday Grayson!!
Next I did a graduation party for some sweet friends. Jordan ordered these cookies for her boyfriend who graduated and is going to the U of A in the fall.

Jordan originally asked for bow ties, and I asked if I could throw in a few ties too. :) I was so excited to you my Arkansas cutter. My sweet friend Sarah got this for me and I have been waiting to use it!

I asked Jordan to send me a pic with the cookies....

So cute! :)

Next up, teacher appreciation.

My sister found some cookies similar to these on Pinterest, and asked me to do them for her girls teachers. I LOVE doing things that are out of the ordinary. I think my dream will be to eventually stop selling cookies and just create crazy cookies all day.

I definitely have come to appreciate all that teachers do after Parker being in "school" one day a week. I also have two sisters that are teachers. They are underpaid, overworked, and have some serious patience (that I do not have).
Thank you teachers for teaching our little ones!

I also did some ballet cookies for my SIL but somehow forgot to take pics so I'll have to bum some off of her :).

I ordered some cookie cutters a couple of weeks ago and in that order was this:

This is the COOLEST. COOKIE CUTTER. EVER.

It is a cutter that makes a flat piece of pie.

I just think this is the cutest thing! These would be a perfect fourth of July treat, and they are super easy to make.

Happy Wednesday!

Candy Bar and Graduation

Somehow I ended up with a gazillion cookies this week, and I'm still alive......barely.
My third order of the week was for a "candy bar" party.

I  did these for the KDO staff where Parker goes one day a week. When they asked me to do these I was more than glad because we have LOVED being part of this program. Parker looks forward to going to "school" every week, and his teachers couldn't be sweeter (seriously there was no pun intended and I debated on changing this, but thought it was kind of cute :).

I loved all of these bright colors!

Next I did some graduation cookies for some sweet friends who had a weekend full of graduation parties!

The graduate is headed to TCU!

Next up, a John Deere birthday party and a Razorback themed graduation party!

I had to share this story about Parker this week:
Parker got an angry birds game for his birthday and he has LOVED it. Its just a bunch of birds and blocks where you build your own towers and use a sling shot to knock the blocks down. The game also came with the pigs that you knock off of the blocks.
My Mom called me yesterday and told me she had found a pig at her house, to tell Parker and she would save it so he could come get it. I told him that Gigi (that's what the kids call my Mom) had found a pig and was saving it for him.
So I was asking Parker if he wanted to go over to their house and he got really excited and said "YES! Let's go get my pig!!!"
Poor guy thought he was getting a pet pig. Not so much buddy, not so much. This is a little more like it:

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
