Last week my sweet friend Sydney ,(who's hubby Tom is a local news anchor) emailed me and asked if I would be interested in Tom doing a story on my cookies. After feeling like I was going to barf and hyperventilating, I agreed. So today Tom came over and filmed and did my interview.
I think Sydney is one of the nicest people I know, and Tom is the same way, so I honestly had no nerves by the time I had to talk. I'm not going to lie though, I am not looking forward to seeing myself on TV or hearing how awful my voice sounds, ha!
Thank you to those who said a prayer for my nerves, I felt them!
The peice will air Thursday morning and evening on the news.
A big thank you to my sweet hubby who kept the kids all day so that I could get ready for this. He just let me do my thing and took care of everything. Thank You Jason!
I'll be back with a YUMMY cake recipe later!

This is so exciting! Pretty sure this is how Ree started out....popular blog first, local news second, & her own food network show third!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting!!! I can't wait to watch tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteFor those of us who moved away and don't get to watch KNWA any more, please be sure to post a link to the video on their site! I can't wait to see it! And I talked about you on my blog today. You'd totally be ashamed of the cupcakes we made yesterday. My icing skills are totally lacking!
